The Clemson Tigers will officially begin their 2022 season with a Monday night game in Mercedes-Benz Stadium on Sept. 5 against Georgia Tech in the Chick-Fil-A Kickoff Game.

“For the first time in the Chick-fil-A Kickoff Game’s history we’ll host two teams from the same conference facing off and starting ACC conference play in Atlanta,” Gary Stokan, Peach Bowl CEO and president, said in a statement. “These are two great rivals and two passionate fan bases who will be in the national spotlight in prime time on Labor Day night.”
