-- Thomas Graham Jr.: Thanks Oregon. Returning for 2020.

-- Deommodore Lenoir: Thanks Oregon. Returning for 2020.

-- Jordon Scott: Coming back. Will take Master’s classes.

-- Austin Faoliu: Coming back. Doesn’t see any harm in coming back for senior year.

WHAT THEY WANT TO IMPROVE ON IN 2020:

-- Graham: Speed, mentoring younger players

-- Lenoir: Maturity, leadership, off coverage

-- Scott: Pass rush

-- Faoliu: Pass rush, consistency vs. run block

-- Scott looking into Master’s classes

-- Scott says he “rushed” his high school graduation to come to college. Says he wanted to enjoy his senior season with friends and recruiting class he came in with.

-- Graham says his parents supported him, will graduate after Winter quarter.

-- Lenoir also notes graduating was important.

-- Scott said graduating was top priority before NFL and parents supported him.

-- Faoliu says mother also pushed him to get degree and now Master’s.

-- Scott says it was an emotional week to go home and have degree arrive for his mom to see.

MARIO CRISTOBAL

-- “That’s the best opening statement you can ask for."

-- “It speaks very loudly for them as people, them as competitors, them as teammates."

-- Presented information to players and their families. “They were awesome.” Got a head’s up ahead of time.

-- On Jordon Scott: “The versatility that this defense allows him to showcase is going to be really important” in the spring and in 2020 season. “He can take another massive step this offseason.”

-- On OC search: We’ve done a lot of work. Don’t rush these things because when it’s right it’s right. Candidates “all outstanding.” Needs to “hit on all cylinders” i.e. recruiting, scheme fit, Xs and Os, culture fit, etc. “Hopefully within the week we can come to a decision on that and move forward.”

-- On defense returning so much of two-deep: “Excited about that. Excited about their development. Excited about Year 2 in the scheme.” Getting closer to where they want to be as a program on defense.

-- Jaylon Redd has returned to the team

-- Voluntary workouts under way but many guys are taking maintenance time before returning to workouts.

-- Early enrollees: T.J. Bass, Jonathan Denis, Noah Sewell, Jay Butterfield, Jared Greenfield, Bennett Williams, Jake Shipley, Bradyn Swinson

-- On OC search: Heavily involved. Tonight’s CFP championship completing the season “may or may not” help in reaching decision.
