The new era of Colorado football under Deion Sanders officially began over the weekend, as the Buffs held what was their first practice of spring ball.

This next era of Buffs football may be one of the most anticipated tenures in college football history, and no that is not an exaggeration. The program is fresh off a 1-11 season, and their lone winning season in the past few years came during the shortened Covid-19 season. This may not sound like the makings of a fascinating season, but when you consider what Coach Prime has accomplished in a few months on the job you'll think otherwise. 

 Sanders has now turned the program into what can only be considered one of the most popular in the country. There are dozens of blue chip recruits eyeing a visit to Colorado's spring game, and the roster is made up of a No. 1 transfer class that is complimented by a top-25 recruiting class. Fans of the sport across the country have been yearning for a taste of what the Buffs will look like, and not only did they get that from Deion Sanders Jr.'s YouTube which featured a deep bomb from Shedeur Sanders to Travis Hunter, but they also got it from Colorado's Instagram page.
