Michigan 2021 wide receiver signee Xavier Worthy won’t be enrolling early after all.

The four-star prospect from Fresno (Calif) Central East announced in a post on Twitter Monday night that he will not be one of the several Wolverines signees beginning classes Tuesday as early enrollees.

All 20 of the Wolverines’ 2021 commits, including Worthy, inked their national letters of intent during December’s early signing period.

“To end all the drama and speculations I am not enrolling early I’ll see y’all on the field,” the 6-foot-1, 160-pound Worthy tweeted.

Last month, Michigan head coach Jim Harbaugh said Worthy, the No. 76 overall prospect nationally, per 247Sports’ Composite rankings, was one of the “11 or 12” players expected to enroll early and be able to participate in spring practice.

The rest of the players Harbaugh mentioned as early enrollees are all listed in Michigan’s online directory: five-star quarterback J.J. McCarthy, four-star running back Donovan Edwards, four-star offensive tackle Giovanni El-Hadi, four-star linebacker Junior Colson, four-star center Raheem Anderson, four-star receiver Cristian Dixon, four-star center Greg Crippen, three-star running back Tavierre Dunlap, four-star offensive tackle Tristan Bounds and three-star receiver Andrel Anthony.
