Michigan offers Grimsley edge Bryce Davis

Grimsley High School edge Bryce Davis picked up another offer on Monday, the latest coming from Michigan.

Davis announced the offer on his Twitter account.

Standing at 6-foot-4 and 230 pounds, Davis is rated a four-star prospect by 247Sports.com. The recruiting website ranks him as the No. 2 overall player in North Carolina from the Class of 2025 and the No. 7 edge player in the nation.

As a sophomore last fall, Davis recorded 85 tackles, including 24 tackles for loss and 12 sacks. He added 27 quarterback hurries, two pass breakups, two fumble recoveries, one forced fumble, and one blocked punt.

His performance as a sophomore earned him a spot on the HighSchoolOT All-State Team.

Grimsley posted a 15-1 overall record with its only loss coming to New Bern in the N.C. High School Athletic Association 4A state championship game.

Davis has a number of offers from major Division-I programs. His list of offers includes Alabama, Charlotte, Duke, East Carolina, Florida, Florida State, Georgia, NC State, North Carolina, Notre Dame, Penn State, Tennessee, Vanderbilt, Virginia Tech, Wake Forest, and West Virginia.
