New facility at JSU named after W.C. Gorden and wife Vivian
The Jackson State Tigers pay homage to legendary icons in longtime football head coach W.C. Gorden and his wife Vivian. The W.C. and Vivian Gorden Lecture Theater was officially unveiled at the Walter Payton Center at JSU on Monday. This new facility gives JSU a Power 5 upgrade and will be put to good use. Coach Gorden passed away in 2020 but his wife, Vivian, is humbled with their names cemented in JSU's facility and legacy.
