New field, new threads: Roseville high school feels ready for start of season

The West Park High School football team gears up for their inaugural season under the Friday night lights. Not only is the football program redone from the ground up, but the look and feel at West Park is fresh. The team is eager to show off its brand new state-of-the-art stadium, as well as some new uniforms. “It makes me feel like we are gonna build a legacy here. Everything we do here is going to amount to something great,” said Panthers center, Zach Vasquez. Head Coach Jason Tenner, leading the Panthers this year, agrees. “They have the opportunity to lay a foundation that’s gonna last for generations. We take a lot of pride in that,” Tenner said.
