Taggart urges FSU fans to lower expectations in latest ridiculous move

Willie Taggart has been trying to get Florida State to #DoSomething in his first year in Tallahassee, but the Seminoles have fallen flat on their face, struggling to a 4-4 record. That mark looks even worse when you see they beat Samford and Louisville by a combined 14 points, Clemson absolutely embarrassed them, and they still have to go play Notre Dame.

Taggart doesn't want Seminoles fans to abandon his squad, but he is tempering their expectations a bit.

"Here at Florida State, it’s such a rich tradition and our fans haven't been in this position before,” Taggart said. “All this is new to them, too, so they're learning."

Oh okay, Taggart. It's their fault because they don't understand this "process" you're going through. Because fans of a national power that should compete for an ACC title are upset after a 4-4 start with a team chock full of NFL talent, they need to temper their expectations and be patient with you?

In Taggart's first year, he has overseen complete chaos on the field. He has somehow mismanaged a very talented QB in Deondre Francois by pairing him with a shoddy offensive line. Despite being an offensive guy, Taggart's offense has looked disjointed and erratic.

If Taggart keeps this "trust the process" rhetoric up, he may end up kicked out of Tallahassee sooner rather than later.
