College: Navy

Stat: The 6-2, 290-pound Bowles anchored an offensive line that helped the Orioles average 359 yards per game. Bowles was a four-year starter at Avon.

College: Undecided

Stat: The 6-8, 360-pound Jones, also a standout basketball player for Ben Davis, is planning to make a college decision in mid-December. Indiana, Florida State, Michigan and USC are among the schools on his list.

OL Austin Keele

School/Year: New Palestine, Sr.

College: Undecided

Stat: The 6-2, 260-pound Keele started on both sides of the line for the Class 5A undefeated state champions. Keele had 42 tackles and seven tackles for a loss on defense.

OL Jordyn Law

School/Year: Pike, Sr.

College: Army

Stat: The 6-4, 265-pound Law was a standout as a center on the offensive line and a long-snapper for the Red Devils. He picked Army over Eastern Illinois and Tennessee State.

OL Caleb Shaffer

School/Year: Carmel, Sr.

College: Miami of Ohio

Stat: The 6-5, 315-pound Shaffer helped the Greyhounds to the Class 6A state championship game and an 11-3 record. Carmel averaged 326 yards of total offense per game.

College: Undecided

Stat: The 6-5, 260-pound Solomon is the latest in a long line of standout offensive linemen at Chatard. The Trojans averaged nearly 36 points per game and more than 370 yards per game.

Stat: The 6-4, 220-pound Montefalco caught 44 passes for 734 yards and four touchdowns for the Irish. Montefalco is also a basketball player.

Stat: The 6-3, 190-pound Stanley caught 45 passes for 569 yards and five touchdowns as a senior, helping the Warriors to a Class 6A state championship.

Stat: The 6-3, 190-pound Bell caught 85 passes for 1,542 yards and 22 touchdowns as a senior, leading Warren Central to an undefeated Class 6A state title. Bell will make his college announcement Jan. 5 at the All-American Bowl in San Antonio.

Stat: Elliott helped engineer a turnaround at North Central, catching 61 passes 970 yards and 10 touchdowns as a senior. He also rushed for 108 yards and four TDs, returned two kickoffs for touchdowns and one punt return.

WR Bryce Kirtz

School/Year: Brownsburg, Sr.

College: Northwestern

Stat: Kirtz caught 59 passes for 969 yards and 12 touchdowns as a senior to lead Brownsburg to a 10-1 record and Hoosier Crossroads Conference championship. Kirtz caught 165 passes for 2,697 yards and 37 TDs for his high school career.

WR Eli Pancol

School/Year: Pendleton Heights, Sr.

College: Duke

Stat: In nine games as a senior, the 6-4 Pancol had 31 receptions for 582 yards and 11 touchdowns. Pancol also returned a kick for a touchdown and intercepted two passes.

Stat: The 6-2, 195-pound George helped the Warriors to a Class 6A state title as he completed 64 percent of his passes for 3,005 yards and 41 touchdowns with just five interceptions. George passed for 5,005 yards in his three seasons.

Stat: The 6-5, 220-pound Schott completed 62 percent of his passes for 3,238 yards and 39 touchdowns as a senior. Schott passed for 7,493 yards and 78 TDs in his three seasons as a starter.

Stat: The 6-1, 190-pound Thompson helped spark North Central to its first sectional title in 25 years. Thompson passed for 2,653 yards and 23 touchdowns and rushed for 436 yards and 10 TDs.

RB Romeir Elliott

School/Year: Warren Central, Sr.

College: Southern Illinois

Stat: The 5-7, 190-pound Elliott, who was offered by Western Michigan and will visit in January, rushed for 227 yards in the Class 6A state championship win over Carmel to finish his season with 3,045 rushing yards and 38 touchdowns.

RB Sampson James

School/Year: Avon, Sr.

College: Indiana

Stat: The 6-1, 200-pound James was slowed by an injury as a senior but still rushed for 1,043 yards and 11 touchdowns. James finished his high school career with 3,451 rushing yards and 38 TDs.

RB Donovan Marcus

School/Year: Brownsburg, Jr.

College: Undecided

Stat: Marcus rushed for more than 100 yards in all but one game as a junior, finishing the season with 1,711 yards and 15 touchdowns. Marcus also caught 18 passes for 247 yards.

Stat: The 6-2, 210-pound Steele rushed for 2,270 yards and 29 touchdowns to lead the Trojans to the Class 6A semistate. In two seasons, Steele has 3,973 rushing yards and 49 TDs.

All-purpose Jalen Peterson

School/Year: Avon, Sr.

College: Undecided

Stat: Peterson did a little bit of everything as a senior for Avon, catching 45 passes for 805 yards and eight touchdowns and rushing for more than 100 yards. Peterson also intercepted three passes on defense.

Stat: The 6-3, 280-pound Brevard is arguably the top recruit in the state in the junior class, claiming offers from Notre Dame, Penn State, Wisconsin and many others.

DL Brian Gaffney

School/Year: Center Grove, Sr.

College: Undecided

Stat: Gaffney was an impact player on the defensive line for the Trojans, making 15 tackles for a loss in 11 games. Gaffney also gave Center Grove a spark on offense, rushing for five touchdowns on the season and 92 yards in the semistate against Warren Central.

DL Dane Middlebrook

School/Year: Brownsburg, Jr.

College: Undecided

Stat: The 6-1, 310-pound Middlebrook helped to anchor a Brownsburg defense that was much improved from a season ago. Middlebrook has a scholarship offer from Ohio State.

Stat: The 6-4, 240-pound Robbins led the Greyhounds with 61 solo tackles, 15 tackles for a loss and also had six sacks, three fumble recoveries and three forced fumbles for the Class 6A state finalists.

DL Chamaar Smith

School/Year: Decatur Central, Sr.

College: Northern Illinois

Stat: The 6-2, 210-pound Smith anchored a dominant defense for the Class 5A state finalist Hawks. Smith finished with 90 tackles, including 27 tackles for a loss. He also had nine sacks.

Stat: Coll finished his senior season with 119 solo tackles, including 18 for a loss. He also rushed for 256 yards and five touchdowns and recovered two fumbles.

LB Christian Hastings

School/Year: Warren Central, Sr.

College: Indiana State

Stat: The 6-2, 205-pound Hastings made 86 tackles and six tackles for a loss for the undefeated Warriors with two of his best performances coming late in the tournament against North Central and Center Grove.

LB Jay Higgins

School/Year: Brebeuf Jesuit, Jr.

College: Undecided

Stat: The 6-2, 215-pound Higgins led the Brebeuf defense with 131 tackles, including 8 ½ for a loss. He also caught 30 passes for 423 yards and six touchdowns as a tight end.

LB Joey Schmidt

School/Year: Carmel, Sr.

College: Undecided

Stat: The 6-2, 220-pound Schmidt was one of the defensive leaders for Carmel, finishing third on the team in tackles, along with making six sacks and scoring two defensive touchdowns. Schmidt has a handful of Division I offers.

Stat: The 5-7, 160-pound Weakley set a school record with 112 solo tackles and 175 total tackles for the Class 2A state champion Stars. Weakley made 24 ½ tackles for a loss and seven sacks.

DB Trevon Booker

School/Year: Lawrence Central, Sr.

College: Miami (Ohio)

Stat: Booker was a standout in the secondary for the Bears, finishing with two interceptions on the season and 32 tackles.

DB Nate Frey

School/Year: Carmel, Sr.

College: Undecided

Stat: Frey was second on the team in tackles and led the Greyhounds with four interceptions and three blocked kicks. Frey also made seven tackles for loss from his safety position for the 6A runners-up.

DB Harry Ochs

School/Year: North Central, Sr.

College: Undecided

Stat: The free safety led the Panthers with 159 tackles and had 10 tackles for a loss, three interceptions and caused six fumbles. He also played a key role as a punt and kick returner.

Stat: Steele was injured after eight games of the season but intercepted five passes and passed for 1,030 yards and seven touchdowns while healthy. Steele finished with 23 career interceptions at Triton Central.

DB Randy Wells

School/Year: Warren Central, Jr.

College: Undecided

Stat: The 5-10, 195-pound Wells was one of the top tacklers for the Class 6A champions, finishing the season with 84 tackles and five interceptions. Wells also handled the punting duties for the Warriors.

K Caleb Urban

School/Year: Martinsville, Sr.

College: Undecided

Stat: Urban was 9-for-13 on field-goal attempts with a long of 50 yards in his senior season. Urban made all 43 of his extra-point attempts and also averaged 37.8 yards per punt.

P P.J. Buck

School/Year: Center Grove, Sr.

College: Undecided

Stat: Buck averaged 38.0 yards per punt and placed 15 inside the 20-yard-line of the opponent. Buck also passed for a touchdown in a win over Cathedral.
