Miami season preview

The Miami Hurricanes are coming off a disappointing 2018 season in which they went 7-6. Now, the Canes head into 2019 with a new head coach, Manny Diaz, and are looking to pick up where they left off in 2017. This is a team that is ready to take on all challengers and compete for the trip to the ACC Championship game. While losing a number of players in both their front four and in the secondary, Miami is expected to still have a very good defense thanks in large part to all three starting linebackers returning. Shaquille Quarterman, Michael Pinkney, and Zach McCloud are all back for their senior years, and will all be four-year starters once the first game kicks off. While three players are still competing at quarterback, whoever wins the battle will benefit from all the talent that the Hurricanes have at the skill positions. Manny Diaz and Shaquille Quarterman both sat down and talked about what Hurricanes fans should be excited about in 2019.
