The Boise State football team landed its second verbal commitment in as many days Wednesday when St. Thomas Aquinas (Florida) wide receiver Jackson Grier joined the Broncos’ 2023 class.

Boise State offered Grier a scholarship on June 14. He visited campus over the weekend and apparently left impressed.

“It felt like home, so I made it home,” Grier posted on Twitter Wednesday morning.

Grier, who hasn’t been rated by 247Sports yet, helped national powerhouse St. Thomas Aquinas, in Fort Lauderdale, go 14-1 and win its third straight 7A state championship last season, but that was hardly his first experience with high-level football.

The 6-foot, 175-pound receiver comes from a football family. His father, Chris, has been the general manager for the Miami Dolphins since 2016. His grandfather, Bobby, worked in player personnel for the New England Patriots and Houston Texans, and Grier’s older brother, Landon, is a redshirt sophomore at the University of South Carolina.

Three-star running back Jambres “Breezy” Dubar joined the Broncos’ 2023 class on Tuesday.
