Some would never think the Cowboys won a game in Week 5 based off the mood of most of Cowboys nation. Quarterback Dak Prescott is lost for the season and the team finds themselves ready to rally behind veteran quarterback Andy Dalton. The Cowboys spent money on a back up quarterback for the first time in what feels like forever. This is why you spend those kinds of dollars. Andy Dalton is more than serviceable and will have his first start in Week 6 as the Arizona Cardinals come to AT&T Stadium for some Monday Night Football.

Kyler Murray has been on the rise and he was handed a shiny new toy in Deandre Hopkins to catch passes in 2020. The Cowboys defense seemed to have found some momentum and were able to make key stops against the Giants in Week 5. Can the Cowboys make it two in a row for the first time this season? If they do, it will be the first Dallas Cowboys win without Dak Prescott under center in quite some time. Let’s see what the Cowboys Wire staff has to say about the Monday night showdown.
