Sean Smith capped off a huge performance with the game-winning touchdown late in the fourth quarter to lift Carlisle (2-2) to a 35-28 victory over Cedar Cliff (2-3).

Smith finished with 333 yards and four touchdowns on 29 carries in a workhorse performance for the Thundering Herd.

QB Gannon McMeans led the Colts with 141 yards and two touchdowns. Jamir Reynolds-Vasquez rushed for 188 yards and a touchdown in the loss.

In Mid-Penn Capital action, Middletown (3-1) easily bested Trinity (0-5), 49-14 Friday. The Blue Raiders jumped out to a 35-7 lead by halftime and never looked back.

Seven different players found the endzone in a well-balanced performance by the Blue Raiders. Audric Bryant and Derek Wall each took lengthy kick returns back for touchdowns in a strong special teams outing.

Brandyn Davis and Jaydon Wotring each converted one rushing touchdown, while Tajae Broadie and Tymir Jackson hauled in one receiving touchdown apiece courtesy of QB Julio Rodriguez.

Judd Novak put on an offensive clinic in Manheim Central’s decisive, 51-14 victory over Elizabethtown Friday.

Novak had a hand in all seven touchdowns for the Barons. The dominant QB threw for 355 yards and six touchdowns while adding another 49 yards and one touchdown on the ground.

Owen Sensenig was Novak’s favorite target and was dominant in his own rite. Sensenig hauled in five receptions, four of which resulted in touchdowns in a 211-yard outing. Westley Borden racked up 106 yards and two touchdowns receiving, respectfully.

Hempfield (3-3) kept things close in the first half, but Wilson (5-1) pulled away in the third quarter en route to a 27-12 win. The Black Knights trailed 13-9 at the intermission, but the Bulldogs went on a 14-3 run in the third quarter and never faltered down the stretch.

QB Kaleb Brown converted a 35-yard second-quarter run and connected with TJ Flite on a 27-yard pass late in the third quarter. Brown racked up 198 yards on the ground and added another 66 yards in the air.

Joey McCraken and Thatcher Miller were on the same page in Warwick’s 49-14 emphatic defeat of Cocalico Friday. The duo connected for three touchdowns in the lopsided victory.

McCracken was dialed in, finishing the contest with 319 yards and four touchdowns. Miller tallied 150 yards and three touchdowns receiving. Teammate Caleb Schmitz eclipsed the 100-yard mark receiving as well, posting 134 yards and one touchdown.
