Derulo took “Break a leg” a little too seriously ahead of the Superbowl performance 

Well not leg but foot, Jason Derulo, 33 broke his foot before his performance at a Super Bowl LVII event, which left him to rely on a cane. But it did not stop the “wiggle” singer from performing for the big show.

The mishap happened while Derulo was playing Basketball with his pals. Reportedly, while playing he took a leap for the rebound but fell awkwardly on a player’s foot. 

Derulo is selected to be the headliner of the NFL’s TikTok Tailgate party alongside The Black Keys, set to happen before the big game. 

It is hard to say whether Jason would be back on his feet before the big day, yet the singer seemed to be quite confident that he would be able to perform nonetheless. 

“We’re baaaaaack for year three of #TikTokTailgate,” said Derulo in a video, as reported by Page Six. “Me and @theblackkeys are kicking things off for us at our 2023 TikTok Tailgate! Catch the show on Feb. 12.”

He did not go for surgery before the Super Bowl Sunday and rather received stem cell injections for a speedy recovery. Besides, Derulo is also said to be taking physical therapy daily.
