As the stalemate between the Green Bay Packers and the New York Jets continues, Aaron Rodgers remains a popular topic of discussion in the sports world.
That fascination has now extended to the sport of boxing, where fighter and social media star Jake Paul is sharing the story of his interaction with the quarterback.
Rodgers has said that he's taken ayahuasca, crediting the psychedelic drink with providing him mental clarity. Paul says that not only can he vouch for Rodgers' claims, he can tell you first hand because he was with Rodgers at the time.
"Aaron and I were actually together when we did the ayahuasca," Paul told Fox News Digital in an interview. "He's more publicly known for speaking about it, but I was actually there with him when he did it."
Paul says that he and Rodgers have a lot in common, especially when it comes to spirituality and self reflection.
The boxer added that he wants to try a darkness retreat similar to the one Rodgers went to before deciding on his intent to play for the New York Jets.
The benefits of ayahuasca seem to have worked for Rodgers, but the jury is still out on Paul. Tommy Fury handed Paul his first loss as a professional boxer last month.
