NFL announcement guarantees packed house for possible Bills-Chiefs AFC Championship Game

Mercedes-Benz Stadium still doesn't know if it'll be hosting an AFC Championship Game between the Buffalo Bills and Kansas City Chiefs, but if the neutral site is needed, it'll be a packed house.
According to mercedesbenzstadium.com, the site has 71,000 total seats but is expandable to 75,000.
Atlanta could know as early as Saturday evening if the Falcons' home stadium will be needed for next Sunday night, but that's only if the Jacksonville Jaguars were to upset the Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC divisional round. If the Jaguars were to pull off the stunner, they would be on the road for the AFC title game against the winner of the Bills and Cincinnati Bengals.
If Kansas City defeats Jacksonville, but Cincinnati beats Buffalo on Sunday, then the Chiefs would host the Bengals from Arrowhead Stadium.
The 50,000-plus tickets being sold within 24 hours of last week's announcement regarding the potential neutral is somehow astonishing, but also not surprising. Both Chiefs fans and the "Bills Mafia" are thought to be among the most passionate and well-traveled fans in the NFL.
Opened in 2017, Mercedes-Benz Stadium has hosted one Super Bowl thus far. The stadium was the site of the New England Patriots' 13-3 victory over the Los Angeles Rams in Super Bowl LIII.
