With the Seattle Seahawks at 4-8 entering Week 14, the trade rumors for star quarterback Russell Wilson are flying once again.

What does the future have in store for Russell Wilson? While the Seattle Seahawks had Super Bowl aspirations this season, the NFC West side has looked rough. They're currently 4-8 on the year, which no one saw coming.

With that said, could Wilson end up getting traded once the 2021 campaign wraps up? According to NFL insider Jordan Schultz, Wilson would consider waving his no-trade clause for a move to three teams. Whoa.

Russell Wilson trade rumors are going wild once again due to poor Seahawks plays

Per Schultz's sources, Wilson would be open to joining the Saints, Broncos and Giants. Wilson of course wouldn't come cheap, as the Super Bowl-winning quarterback is one of the best signal-callers in the game when he's healthy.

This past offseason, Wilson had his drama with the Seattle front office and it looked like he was going to end up getting traded. While that didn't happen then, it most certainly could happen down the road.

Changes are needed in Seattle. The Seahawks really did have high hopes for this season and the fact that they're on the outside looking in for the playoffs is shocking. They're simply too good of a team to be at 4-8, even if Wilson missed multiple games due to injury.

While there's still a chance Seattle could be in the postseason if they win out, the odds really aren't in their favor. With this team looking like it may need to rebuild a little bit, Seattle could trade Wilson if they get a big enough offer. All three teams he's been linked to by Schultz make sense. It'll be on those front offices to make something happen.
