PHILADELPHIA, PA - NOVEMBER 03: Carson Wentz #11 of the Philadelphia Eagles looks on against the Chicago Bears at Lincoln Financial Field on November 3, 2019 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

The Dallas Cowboys' run of disappointment that dates back to 1996 continued last year, when they failed to log a winning record for the second consecutive season. Dak Prescott suffered a season-ending ankle injury in Week 5 and the Cowboys won six games. With a healthy Prescott returning this year, there is hope that Dallas can compete with the 2022 Super Bowl contenders in the NFC. The Cowboys look to have one of the best offenses in the conference, and if they can overwhelm defenses as hoped, they could emerge as a value play when you consider their 2022 Super Bowl odds.

The Cowboys are listed at +2800 in the latest Super Bowl odds 2022 from William Hill Sportsbook. Dallas has won three playoff games since its last Super Bowl appearance, but the Cowboys have the weapons to be considered among the more respectable Super Bowl 56 picks. Before making any 2022 Super Bowl picks based on the latest NFL odds, you need to check out the NFL predictions from the SportsLine Projection Model.

The model, which simulates every NFL game 10,000 times, is up almost $7,900 for $100 players on top-rated NFL picks since its inception six years ago. It went a sizzling 24-14 on top-rated NFL picks last season, returning more than $800. The model also enters the 2021 season on an incredible 120-78 run on top-rated NFL picks that dates back to the 2017 season. Anyone who has followed it is way up.

Now, it has set its sights on finding value in the 2022 Super Bowl odds. You can see its top NFL picks and predictions here.

Top 2022 Super Bowl predictions

After simulating the season 10,000 times, the model likes the value of the Chicago Bears, even though they are +5000 underdogs to win the Super Bowl. After their fans were teased by the mirage of a Russell Wilson acquisition, the Bears traded up to take Ohio State standout Justin Fields with the 11th pick in the 2021 NFL Draft. Chicago also signed veteran quarterback Andy Dalton, but it's the promise and potential of Fields that could make the Bears a surprise team in the NFC in 2021.

If Fields can work his way into the starting lineup, he will have the benefit of working with one of the best pass-catchers in the game. Wide receiver Allen Robinson caught a career-high 102 passes in 2020, the second-most in Bears history. Third-year running back David Montgomery could be on the verge of a breakout campaign after he rushed for 1,070 yards and totaled 10 touchdowns from scrimmage.

The model says the Bears win it all in 2.4 percent of simulations, more often than their Super Bowl 56 odds imply.

How to make 2022 Super Bowl picks

The model is also high on a juicy long shot in the AFC that would pay even better than the Colts (25-1). You need to see the model's analysis before making any Super Bowl 56 bets.
