Nick Martin has been an impressive interior lineman for the Houston Texans, but his excellent work is the best in the NFL.

According to Pro Football Focus, the third-year center from Notre Dame has notched the highest pass-blocking grade among centers in the league.

Such play can only help quarterback Deshaun Watson, who has taken a combined seven sacks through the first two weeks of the season. The second-year signal caller from Clemson has been sacked in each of his nine career games with the Texans.

At least the pressure is not coming from up the middle. If Martin, who finished the last two games on injured reserve in 2017, can stay healthy and consistent for the Texans, it should help the rest of the offensive line congeal as they find their groove protecting Watson.
