The Ravens have signed practice squad wide receiver DeSean Jackson to their 53-man roster, the team announced Tuesday.

Jackson, who has five catches for 100 yards in three games this season, was elevated from the practice squad for a third time Sunday, meaning he needed to be signed to the active roster to continue playing. If he reverts to the practice squad, he’d be exposed to waivers.

Jackson, who turned 36 on Thursday, played a season-high 25 snaps on offense in the Ravens’ win Sunday over the Denver Broncos. He had two catches on three targets for 10 yards. After returning from a hamstring injury, he had two catches for 74 yards in a Week 12 loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars.

With Tylan Wallace placed on injured reserve last week and Binjimen Victor waived after Sunday’s game, the Ravens have just four wide receivers on their 53-man roster: Devin Duvernay, Demarcus Robinson, James Proche II and Jackson.
