The Baltimore Ravens-Pittsburgh Steelers game, originally slotted in primetime on Thanksgiving and then moved to Sunday after Baltimore's COVID-19 outbreak, has been pushed back once again.

The NFL announced Friday that it is moving the game to 8 p.m. ET on Tuesday, if no additional positive cases force further postponement. NBC will broadcast the game.

The Ravens reported more positive coronavirus cases among players and staff on Wednesday, and quarterback Lamar Jackson’s positive test became public knowledge on Thursday. Because of the outbreak, the Ravens' facility will be off-limits at least until Monday, coach John Harbaugh confirmed to ESPN on Thursday night.

The Ravens disciplined strength and conditioning coach Steve Saunders for failing to report coronavirus symptoms and not consistently wearing his mask or tracking device while inside the facility.

Baltimore had been scheduled to play the Dallas Cowboys next week on "Thursday Night Football," but the league has moved that matchup to 5 p.m. ET on Dec. 7 for a Monday doubleheader.

Pittsburgh will have a short week, because the Steelers are scheduled to play Washington on Sunday.

NFL owners approved a contingency plan earlier this month that if the coronavirus forced the cancellation of meaningful games in the final stretch of the NFL regular season, leaving some potential playoff teams with uneven records and the league with no time to make up those contests, the postseason field could expand to 16 teams.
