UPDATED STORY 5/12/2021:

It’s official! The Jacksonville Jaguars are returning to London, the team announced in a press release Wednesday morning.

The game will be played on Sunday, October 17 against the Miami Dolphins. Kick-off time is 2.30 p.m. UK time (9.30 a.m. ET).

Jaguars team owner Shad Khan shared his excitement about the team heading back to the UK.

“The Jaguars are honored to return to London, our home away from home, and continue in our mission to grow the NFL and promote Jacksonville in the UK and beyond,” said Khan. “With Urban Meyer as our head coach, we’ll be arriving with an entirely new look and attitude that I’m confident will meet the approval of our Union Jax supporters. I’m also hoping that many of our loyal fans in Jacksonville can join us in London for a great experience and to ratchet up the homefield advantage. Go Jags!”

The full regular schedule for the Jacksonville Jaguar will be released May 12 at 8 p.m. The NFL has already announced that the first Jaguars game will be played against the Houston Texans on Sept. 12.

ORIGINAL STORY 5/11/2021:

The Jacksonville Jaguars will be headed back to London for a “home game” for the 2021 NFL Season, The Athletic is reporting.

The Atlanta Falcons are also set to play a “home game” in London. Both games will be played at Tottenham Football Club’s home stadium, The Athletic said.

The Athletic said full details on the Jaguars’ and Falcons’ London games will be released Wednesday when the league’s full schedule is released.

In February 2020, it was announced that the Jaguars would play two home games in London. When the coronavirus pandemic hit, those plans were put on hold when the NFL announced that all of its 2020 regular season games would be played in the United States.

Prior to the 2020 break, the Jaguars had been playing one home game a season in London since 2013.
