Bill Belichick and the New England Patriots will not trade tight end Rob Gronkowski, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.

Since the owner's meetings, Gronk has been embroiled in trade rumors with a few teams preparing offers, according to Sports Illustrated's Albert Breer. The trade rumors came after ESPN reported Gronk was pretty certain he wasn't going to retire but was still unsure while he and Belichick dealt with lingering frustrations.

Gronk said he intended to mull retirement after the Patriots lost Super Bowl LII. He finished the season with 69 receptions, 1,084 yards and eight touchdowns.
