Highlights: Flour Bluff scored 20 points in the second half to capture a come-from-behind win against Victoria East. The Hornets trailed 23-7 at halftime, but shut out the Titans in the final two quarters. Quarterback Nash Villegas passed for 142 yards and two touchdowns to lead the Hornets.

Highlights: King running back Josiah King had a big night but it wasn't enough in the Mustangs' third consecutive district loss. King led the Mustangs with 140 yards and a touchdown. The Mustangs will have a bye this week, but will look for its first win Oct. 30 at home against Victoria East.

Highlights: Alice captures its first win of the season over Beeville. The Coyotes scored 14 points in the first half and used a 14-point fourth quarter to give Beeville its third consecutive loss. The Coyotes' finished with 356 yards of offense.

Highlights: Sinton continues to roll after winning its fourth straight game and second consecutive District 16-4A Division II game. All of the Pirates' points came in the first half, but it was more than enough with Sinton's defense recording its first shutout of the season. Rene Galvan led the Pirates with 108 rushing yards and two touchdowns, while passing for 83 yards and one touchdown.

Highlights: The shutout was the first of the season for the Mustangs. The Mustangs received strong performances from Bobby Gonzales and Alex Rodriguez, who combined for 172 yards on the ground and three touchdowns.

Highlights: The Bobcats, who are ranked No. 2 in the Class 2A Division I state poll, received another strong performance from quarterback Caleb Hesseltine, who completed 15 passes for 261 yards. Antwaan Gross and Jordan Kelley combined for 181 receiving yards and three touchdowns. The Bobcats' defense recorded its second shutout of the season.
