The Tennessee Titans made a couple of notable roster moves on Sunday, including the release of a former Ohio State Buckeyes star.

John Simon, who starred on the defensive line for the Buckeyes, has been released by the Titans, according to NFL Network insider Tom Pelissero.

The 30-year-old defensive lineman was picked up by the Titans earlier this offseason. He’s played for five different NFL franchises, including Baltimore, Houston, Indianapolis and New England.

Simon will now have to find a new NFL home moving forward.

The Titans are coming off their final preseason game. Tennessee lost to Chicago, 27-24, on Saturday.

Mike Vrabel’s team is scheduled to open the 2021 season on Sunday, Sept. 12 against the Arizona Cardinals in Week 1.

Kickoff is scheduled for 1 p.m. E.T. The game will air on CBS.
