This past week, New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady took a trip to Qatar on a charitable mission with Best Buddies International. During the trip, Brady visited members of the U.S. Army and Air Force at Al Udeid Air Base in Doha, Qatar.

Brady posted a photograph on Instagram of him posing with the soldiers and posted a message thanking them for their service.

“Thanks for having me @usairforce@usarmy, Brady wrote. “It was my pleasure truly! I loved meeting you and seeing what commitment, dedication and sacrifice truly look like!”

It was recently reported that Brady may miss the start of the Patriots offseason training program to finish his work in Qatar. It has also been widely reported that the Patriots purportedly have had some ongoing organizational dysfunction. There also have been whispers concerning some uncertainly about Rob Gronkowski’s status with the team and what the future holds for Brady.

Speculation aside, Brady’s work is a positive in what has been a negative couple of months for the Patriots since their Super Bowl loss.
