On Thursday night, the Michigan State Spartans saw their NCAA Tournament run come to an end.

No. 3 Kansas State entered as the slight favorite, but the Spartans were equal to the task. 40 minutes of action couldn't determine a winner, but the Wildcats prevailed after a five-minute overtime period.

Kansas State won the game 98-93 and will now face off against the winner of Tennessee and Florida Atlantic. Following the game, Michigan State head coach made a comment that rubbed some people the wrong way.

He said the Wildcats were "lucky."

"Give [Kansas State] credit. They banked in two shot clock 3s. They made some big plays, but some of those big plays weren't big plays, they were lucky plays," Izzo said.

It didn't take long for the basketball world to react to his comment.

"What a total lack of class," one fan said.

"A WHOOOOLLLE LOTTA HATERATION AND HOLLERATION IN THAT DANCERY," joked another.

"Bad look for Izzo. 1 or 2 plays don’t define a game. You got beat bud," said a third.

What do you think of Izzo's comment?
