Colorado on track to host four-star EDGE Kolaj Cobbins
Deion Sanders and Colorado are looking to dip into Louisiana again for another top recruit
Deion Sanders has made it known that Colorado will be recruiting the southern states extremely hard. He has already called out Florida and Texas recruits to let them know he's coming, and it has become evident that the Buffs have taken a liking to the talent in Louisiana.
On top of landing four-star Ju'Juan Johnson out of Louisiana, the Buffs are looking to land the services of four-star EDGE Kolaj Cobbins. However, the hybrid defensive stud is being sought after by programs such as Texas, LSU, Ole Miss, Michigan, and Oregon among many others.
According to a report by On3, is planning to visit Colorado sometime during the spring, adding to the list of elite recruits that will be making their way to Boulder. Colorado had a built in connection with Cobbins as defensive line coach Pat Hill built a relationship with Cobbins when he was at LSU. Cobbins did comment on what Sanders and Hill and company were doing in Boulder saying:
“Coach Hill is a great guy and I’m very proud of him getting the Colorado job,” Cobbins said. “He couldn’t forget about me and he kept me in his back pocket, he kept it 100 and he offered me. Colorado needs me and they’re getting an official visit in the spring. They need an official visit and from talking to Deion Sanders and Coach Hill, they said, ‘We’re coming,’ and he kept it saying it, so I’m looking forward to that.”
Cobbins ranks as the No. 163 overall player in the country, according to the On3 Consensus.
