
Cougars upset No. 7 Wildcats 71-69 behind Charlisse Leger-Walker’s overtime buzzer-beater
Pac-12 Networks' Greg Heister and Alyssa Charlston recap Washington State women's basketball 71-69 upset overtime victory over No. 7 Arizona on Sunday, Jan. 10 in Pullman. The Cougars snap an 18-game losing streak to AP Top-10 opponents behind Charlisse Leger-Walker's game-winning layup as time expired versus the Wildcats. Leger-Walker finished with 17 points and five assists as WSU completed a 16-point comeback victory to move to 7-1 overall and 5-1 in conference play. Arizona drops to 8-2 on the season and 6-2 in Pac-12 play.
