Sports World Reacts To Mike Greenberg's Announcement
Mike Greenberg is feeling the love.
The ESPN personality has been off the air this week as he recovers from a heart procedure. He sent a message out to fans on Friday thanking them for the well wishes.
Greenberg said that he and his wife were grateful for the kind words. "I'm sure I'll say something ridiculous that makes you yell at me soon enough," Greenberg said. "But please know I will never forget the kindness we've been shown this week."
The sports world reacted to Greenberg's message.
"So glad to hear you doing great Greeny," one fan said. "Can't wait to see you back on Get Up and Greeny on Monday morning."
"Get well quickly," one fan said.
Greenberg has been a fixture on ESPN programming for over 20 years, largely during his time as co-host of Mike and Mike with former NFL defensive lineman Mike Golic.
From there, he has gone on to host Get Up and his own radio show, Greeny.
Greenberg is also a part of ESPN's NBA coverage, working as a host alongside Michael Wilbon, Jalen Rose and Stephen A. Smith.
He has yet to announce his return to television, but here's hoping it's sooner rather than later for the longtime host.
