The Defense Dan Quinn is Bringing to the Cowboys | Film Room | Blogging the Boys
In the 2020 season, the Dallas Cowboys' defense was universally considered their weakest point. One week after the regular season ended, the Cowboys already parted ways with old Defensive Coordinator Mike Nolan, and brought in Dan Quinn to make some critical changes.
Although Quinn has been the Atlanta Falcons' head coach for the past five years, he has an extensive history coaching defenses. His most prolific stint might have been with the Seattle Seahawks in 2013-2014, when they won a Super Bowl with the Legion of Boom. Cowboys fans are surely hoping for similar success next season, and wondering what type of changes they'll see in their defense. Matt Minich breaks down which schemes Dan Quinn favors, and what the Cowboys will most likely use in 2021.
