Nadal's expected showdown with Roger Federer fails to materialize.

Players with intriguing backstories and impressive runs will meet in the 2022 Wimbledon women's final on Saturday morning. No. 3 seed Ons Jabeur faces No. 17 seed Elena Rybakina at All England Club with a grand slam title on the line. The match is set to begin at 9 a.m. ET in London. Jabeur and Rybakina are both seeking their first grand slam title and playing in their first grand slam final.

Jabeur is a -150 favorite (risk $150 to win $100) in the latest Jabeur vs. Rybakina odds from Caesars Sportsbook, with Rybakina getting +130 (risk $100 to win $130) as the underdog. Caesars sets the over-under for total games at 21.5, with Jabeur favored by 2.5 games. Before making any 2022 Wimbledon picks or predictions, make sure you check out the expert tennis picks and analysis from SportsLine's Gavin Mair.

Mair is the international women's tennis expert who called unseeded Jelena Ostapenko (80-1) winning the 2017 French Open, Naomi Osaka (32-1) winning the 2018 U.S. Open, Bianca Andreescu (20-1) winning the 2019 U.S. Open, plus many other prescient calls. He also correctly backed Iga Swiatek to win the 2022 French Open in advance of the tournament.

Now, Mair has scrutinized the latest Wimbledon 2022 odds and released his coveted best bets. He's sharing all of his Wimbledon picks and analysis only at SportsLine.

Ons Jabeur vs. Elena Rybakina preview

Jabeur is the higher-seeded player and she is on an impressive run. She has won 11 straight matches, in addition to 22 wins in the last 24 outings, and Jabeur is perfect on grass this season. She has a powerful ground game and a well-rounded approach that should counter the overall service power of Rybakina. In addition, Rybakina can be one-dimensional in leaning on her serve, and Rybakina is just 2-6 in final matches.

Rybakina is the youngest Wimbledon finalist since 2015, and she is the first player representing Kazakhstan to reach a major final. The two-time WTA title winner knocked off Bianca Andreescu earlier in the tournament, and Rybakina dominated Simona Halep in the semifinal. She has lost only one set in the tournament, and Halep was perfect until running into Rybakina. Though this is her first grand slam final appearance, Rybakina is dangerous and excellent on grass, utilizing one of the game's best serves. She may also benefit from Jabeur's occasional inconsistency, which was evident in a set loss in the semifinal.
