Patrick Mutombo joins us this week to talk about his journey to the NBA. The importance of relationships and mentors inside and outside the NBA/Sports industry. How instrumental Masai Ujiri was in helping him get his first job with the Denver Nuggets. His international playing days and how he transitioned to coaching. The game of basketball has provided so many opportunities in life that he’s forever grateful. We hear about his African roots and that he makes sure his family is aware of their African heritage. Lastly, how he was built for life as a coach and the chaos and pressure that comes with being a head coach.
