Andy Murray Says Wimbledon Will "Never Be An Exhibition"
Andy Murray says Wimbledon will “never feel like an exhibition”, even though it was recently stripped of ranking points. The points were taken away by the ATP and WTA after Wimbledon organizers banned Russian and Belarusians from competing. Naomi Osaka has revealed that she may not play Wimbledon as she says it is “more like an exhibition” now. Murray believes that “most people watching" Wimbledon won't "know or care about how many ranking points a player gets”. But I guarantee they will remember who wins. Wimbledon will never be an exhibition and will never feel like an exhibition. The end, Andy Murray. Martina Navratilova says she “couldn’t care less if there were no points given” as she “always played for the trophies”.
