Swiss skier Gut crashes into cameraman during giant slalom

During Wednesday’s Ladies Giant Slalom competition, Swiss skier Lara Gut took a hard spill, and she took out a cameraman in the process.

You can watch video of the crash here, though be warned there is a curse word right at the end. Here’s a look at the aftermath, with both Gut and the cameraman ending up on the snow.

It was a pretty significant spill, but thankfully it appeared Gut came out of it relatively unscathed. She did pop back up and made her way down to the bottom of the run, and hopefully she’s healthy enough to give it another shot on her second run.
