JERSEY CITY, NJ — Waterfront dining, a selfie wall, and views of the New York City skyline will be at Lokal when it opens next month.

The restaurant will open at its 2nd Street location Sept. 12. There will be a special grand opening celebration that day from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m.

Lokal wants to draw people from Manhattan. It will have a large bar area, several private dining spaces, including an outdoor patio, a selfie wall, and a panoramic view of the New York City skyline, said Mona Panjwani, Lokal's founder said.

Lokal's menu will feature dishes by executive chef Walter Donaldio and wine and craft cocktails by mixologist Tess Sawyer.

Lokal will be located where Taphaus was before it closed earlier this year.
