The elderly couple from Atlanta quarantined in Japan after traveling onboard the cruise ship Diamond Princess is finally getting to come home.
Clyde and Renee Smith, who are both 80 years old, were being quarantined in a Tokyo hospital after disembarking from the cruise ship. They both had tested positive for the virus.

On Wednesday, their son posted on Facebook that they both have now tested negative twice for the virus and are finally being released.
He thanked the nurses for taking such good care of his parents.
