Cruise travelers should be jumping for joy as the Carnival Corporation announced Monday it will launch four new cruise ships in 2019.

The new vessels will debut this year for Carnival Cruise Line, Costa Cruises and Princess Cruises, and will be dubbed the Carnival Panorama (December 2019), Sky Princess (October 2019), Costa Smeralda (October 2019) and Costa Venezia (March 2019).

The four new ships are part of Carnival Corporation's ongoing fleet enhancement strategy with 20 vessels scheduled for delivery between 2019 and 2025. The cruise company launched four ships in 2018, including the Carnival Horizon, Seabourn Ovation, ms Nieuw Statendam and AIDAnova.

“Each launch of a new ship generates lots of interest and excitement among consumers, whether they are among our many loyal guests or they are new to cruising,” Carnival CCO Roger Frizzell said. “Our four new ships in 2019 will be no exception as our brands will introduce spectacular new vessels that have been designed with one purpose in mind: to dazzle our guests as they enjoy an extraordinary vacation experience.”

To celebrate the debut of the Carnival Panorama in Long Beach next December, the cruise line will preview a floral replica of the ship to 700,000 spectators on hand to view the 130th Rose Parade in Pasadena, California, on January 1.

The float will include many of the signature features of Carnival’s ships, including the red and blue funnel, a water park, Lido Deck party and the cruise line’s newest feature, the first-ever trampoline park at sea.
