HELLO KITTY! TSA officer discovers cat inside checked bag at JFK Airport
NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – A cat was discovered inside of a checked bag at John F. Kennedy International Airport last week, according to a TSA spokesperson.
On Nov. 16, a TSA officer found the feline after it went throug it went through an X-ray unit and triggered an alarm.
Transportation Security Administration then alerted the airline who contacted the traveler.
According to the TSA spokesperson Lisa Farbstein, the traveler said "the cat belonged to someone else in his household".
"On the bright side, the cat’s out of the bag and safely back home," Farbstein added on Twitter.
