MANITOWOC - Starting at 6 a.m. Monday, two lanes of traffic on Revere Drive will be closed to traffic to allow street crews to make repairs to the Canadian National Railroad crossing.

The city said in a news release Friday that one lane of travel will remain for southbound and for northbound traffic, both being in the east side of the roadway.

Southbound Spring Street will be closed to through traffic, which will not allow traffic to merge onto southbound Revere Drive. Spring Street will remain open to all businesses, the city said.

Once the work is completed on the west side of Revere Drive, crews will be moving to the east side. The city said information about closures related to that work will be shared at that time.

Work is expected to be completed by 4 p.m. on Thursday.

The city advises drivers to avoid the area altogether, if possible, while the work is being done.
