Newest COVID-19 mass vaccination site opens in Waldorf
About 1,000 Marylanders got fully vaccinated against COVID-19 in the span of two days in the parking lot of a Minor League Baseball stadium in Waldorf. Gov. Larry Hogan on Friday toured Maryland's fourth COVID-19 mass vaccination site at Regency Furniture Stadium in Waldorf. The drive-thru operation is being run in the stadium's parking lot in conjunction with the Federal Emergency Management Agency with more than 80 members of the Maryland National Guard.
