Food Festivals and More Things to Do with Kids in Chicago This Weekend
Looking for the best things to do in Chicago this weekend? Here are some family-friendly events and activities to add to your list for this weekend.
Hungry for a taste of summer? There's lots of food-themed fun going on this weekend at the Chicago Food Truck Fest, Fun & Food Trucks at Hickory Creek, Taste of Highland Park and Strawberry Fest in Long Grove. The sounds of summer are also out in full force with the Grant Park Music Fest, Night Out in the Parks, and Frankfort Concerts on the Green. Kids who like to get messy might want to trek out to DuPage Children's Museum for Mess Fest.
It's been super hot out all week, so take some time get out to one of our favorite sprinkler parks or splash pads or family friendly beaches. If it's too hot to think about swimming outdoors, you can check out one of our favorite hotels or fitness centers with daily pool passes. Or wait until the (somewhat) cooler evenings to check out an outdoor concert or movie from one of our lists.
Here are our top picks for events to attend with your kids this weekend!
