It’s the middle of May, and—somehow—Atlanta’s weather continues to amaze us. Still, this chilly weather that’s currently killing our pre-summer vibes is only temporary, so don’t let it get you down too much. There are still plenty of great indoor and outdoor events for you to attend over the next few days, so grab that jacket that you probably just packed away and get ready to do all of the actually cool things happening in Atlanta this weekend.

Experience the Chastain Spring Arts & Craft Festival

While most of Atlanta’s favorite springtime festivals have been pushed back to the fall, the Chastain Spring Arts & Crafts Festival will still be taking place this weekend. With monitored entrances and exits, a mandatory mask mandate, and social distancing measures in place, everyone who attends the festival will be able to fully enjoy the best local fine art and crafts, gourmet food trucks, and live acoustic music from local musicians.

East Point

If you’re a sucker for nostalgia, the Bakery’s event this weekend should definitely be on your radar. From 4 - 8 pm on Saturday and 1 - 3 pm on Sunday, the Bakery’s East Point location will be hosting the Lisa Freak, Too! art show and market, which will feature art, a '90s bedroom-style photo booth, retro vended goods, and much more.

Atlanta’s street car scene has put on some of the most unforgettable gatherings that you can experience in the city right now, and and this weekend, several of the major street crews across Georgia are banding together to put on a safe and legal car meet at the Atlanta Motor Speedway. As a part of the Take It To The Track this Sunday, PINKFLAMINGOUSA will be hosting the first legal stunt pit in Atlanta, so pull up for a thrilling and history-making experience.
