Lady Kitty Spencer has shared an insight into her very luxurious summer trip to Italy, showing off a delicious breakfast platter and a stunning array of dessserts at a Michelin star restaurant.

Princess Diana's niece, 29, jetted off to the French Riviera earlier this month and has now made her way to Capri, Italy after a stop off in Rome.

Showing off a delicious platter of food at the Michelin starred Il Riccio on the idyllic island of Capri, the Dolce and Gabana model joked the desserts were her 'second favourite Dolce'.

Perhaps unsurprisingly for one of Dolce & Gabbana's favourite models, Lady Kitty has been seen dressed in a dazzling array of dresses by the Italian designer.

It is not known whether Lady Kitty is accompanied on the trip by her fiancé, South Africa-born fashion tycoon Michael Lewis, 61, who is five years older than her father, Earl Spencer.

Making the most of her summer getaway, another shot showed the aristocrat in a stunning teal cover-up sitting atop a yacht.

Sharing lavish snaps to her Instagram from the tour of the Papal Palace of Castel Gandolfo, now 83-year-old Pope Francis' summer home just outside of Rome, Lady Kitty exclaimed at how few tourists there had been.

Twenty rooms in the palace are believed to be open to the public, including the Pope's personal prayer room which Lady Kitty snapped several photos of.

The Bvlgari model posed in the palace gardens, sharing a picture of the grounds with the caption: 'The Pope’s summer residence. One of the most special days I can remember.

'The Barberini Gardens are on the site of a residence of the Roman Emperor Domitian. Pope Francis opened the Gardens to visitors for the first time.

'The palace was also opened to the public without undergoing any structural changes.

'The oldest parts of the castle date back to the 13th century and it was acquired by the Vatican in 1596. The most magnificent and peaceful place to spend the afternoon.'

Sharing a video of the Palace's livestock she also exclaimed at how all the Pope's food was grown within the palace grounds, zooming in on a number of white goats.

Looking elegant as ever in a floral tea dress the high-society influencer encouraged others to get out and see the sights while the tourists were absent.

In another post from Nemi, a town within Rome, the socialite donned a Dolce & Gabbana bright floral dress before standing next to a quaint stall selling jam.

She captioned the image: 'The beautiful town of Nemi. Famous for its little strawberries.'
