CLEVELAND, Ohio – Rozi’s Wine House has a pair of wine and beer fundraisers coming up.

A wine and cheese fundraiser for Barton Senior Center is 6 to 9 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 27. The event was on hold the past two years because of the coronavirus pandemic.

It includes unlimited wine by the glass, heavy hors d’oeuvres, music, raffle baskets and a wine-and-spirits pull. A cash bar will be available as well as beer and wine for take-home purchase. Lakewood posters will be sold.

Note: Attendees must be fully vaccinated.

The event, which is casual attire, will have food prepared by Karen King Catering of Lakewood.

Ten percent of all sales from Rozi’s will be donated to the center.

Admission is $60 (two tickets, $110; four tickets, $220).

Also, the fifth LLS Beer and Wine Tasting fundraiser is 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 8.

Ten wines will be poured, including Caymus Conundrum White, Argyle Pinot Noir and Buehler Napa Cabernet. The brewers from Missing Mountain Brewing Co. in Cuyahoga Falls will be pouring eight beers. Hot and cold hors d’oeuvres and a 50-50 raffle will be available.

The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society event raises funds for cancer research.

Cost is $40 (advance), $50 (at the door).

If you go: Tickets are online for the Barton Center fundraiser and the LLS fundraiser. Rozi’s is at 14900 Detroit Ave., Lakewood.
