Restaurants throughout the Valley are saying thanks to the men and women who have served and continue to serve in the U.S. Armed Forces with free meals, discounts and other perks for Veterans Day.

This veteran-owned craft cidery offers active military and veterans a 10% discount year-round. Styles created specifically in honor of those who serve will be available in 4-packs ($14.99) and include: Sangin Sangria, a red sangria-style drink that blends Cider Corps’ hard apple cider base with fruit that's named for the town of Sangin where co-owner Jason Duren was injured in service and is known as the deadliest area of Afghanistan; Tropic Lightning, a strawberry and hibiscus cider dedicated to the 25th Infantry Division of the U.S. Army stationed in Hawaii; and Sailor Cherry, a sour cherry and lime cider that's a nod to Navy vet and tattoo legend Norman “Sailor Jerry” Collins.
