"I just want to say thank you to everyone who has prayed and sent best wishes for my wonderful Mom," Brittany began in her post on Tuesday. "She has made an amazing recovery and is doing so so much better."

In early June, after Sherri revealed to her own online audience on Twitter that she was undergoing a bladder surgery, Brittany shared a concerning post on her Instagram Stories in which she asked her fans and followers to send prayers in Sherri's direction.

"For those of you who don’t know her story, she went in for a bladder surgery, stayed a couple nights in the hospital and was sent home. She was feeling horrible and days later she was rushed to the hospital for emergency surgery," Brittany recalled.

"Her 45 minute surgery turned into 4 1/2 hours," she continued. "It was the scariest moments and a horrible time to be so far away in California."

According to Brittany, Sherri's doctors tore her bowel during her surgery and didn't realize it until Sherri had "gone septic."

Luckily for Sherri, her emergency doctors were miracle-workers and ultimately saved her after she spent a couple of days on life support.

"[She] woke up days later with no idea what had happened to her. I flew straight to Kentucky and stayed by her side. She is so strong and has come so far from the first days I stayed with her in the hospital. This was a very scary time but she is bouncing right back!!" Brittany continued to her fans.

Following Brittany's post, a number of her "Vanderpump Rules" co-stars weighed in, including Ariana Madix, who said she is "glad she's ok," and Scheana Shay and Dayna Kathan, both of whom told Brittany they love her.

"Love you, Sher bear!" added Lala Kent.

Kristen Doute, who is no longer a part of the "Vanderpump Rules" cast, also weighed in, telling Sherri, "We love you momma," as boyfriend Alex shared a series of praying hand emoji.

Also in her Instagram post, Brittany asked for continued prayers for her mom as she prepares for her next surgery.
