Chelsea Handler celebrates Hanukkah by making a phallic-shaped bread
Chelsea Handler got into the festive spirit this Hanukkah, by making a Challah bread that turned to be much naughtier than intended.
The stand-up comedian, 46, decided to do a spot of baking in order to celebrate the Jewish holiday and make the traditional Jewish delicacy to bring to her family dinner later in the evening.
She filmed the process for her Instagram and began by announcing: 'Since I've been making cooking videos, my family is demanding that I bring something of my own to our Hanukkah dinner.'
She went on: 'First of all we never celebrated Hanukkah growing up, we lit candles and we got money so I don't know why this tradition is starting.
'But I'm here for it so I'm going to make some Challah because I watched somebody do it on Instagram which means I can do it too.'
Chelsea started by sprinkling some flour and then getting her dough and braiding it into a plait, before spraying it with cooking oil.
She finished her braid and patted herself on the back for a job well done, before taking the spare dough and slapping it on either side of her Challah bread, creating a very saucy image.
'That is your happy Hanukkah,' she concluded, holding the baking tray with the phallic shaped bread aloft.
Captioning the hilarious video, the star wrote: 'It’s a Hanukkah miracle that I’m baking. Happy Hanukkah everyone!'
She wasn't the only star who cooked up a storm for the holiday.
The Big Bang Theory actress Mayim Bialik posted a photo of a special vegan treat as she prepared for the festivities.
She posted a picture of the delicious snack, writing alongside it: 'Yes #vegan. Chag Chanukah sameach - Chanukah starts tonight! I’ll post nightly candle pictures for 8 crazy nights on @bialikbreakdown - follow me there for nightly hijinks!'
While Scott Disick, 38, was also marking the first night of Hanukkah with a photo of two plates of sweet treats, including doughnuts adorned with the Star Of David.
Other sweet treats on the plate included an outline of a menorah and other Jewish symbols.
Although he had been celebrating Christmas with the Kardashians and Jenners for many years, the reality star and father of three, whom he shares with ex-partner Kourtney Kardashian, is of the Jewish faith.
