Hoda Kotb is getting really transparent about her love life. The Today host ended her engagement with Joel Schiffman in January 2022. It's taken her some time to heal from the end of that relationship, but she's open to dating again.

She recently talked to Andy Cohen on Watch What Happens Live about what she's learned since the start of the year, saying that endings can be important.

"I’m not sure that every relationship is meant to go all the way," she said. "I think some are meant to be ... I do like that 'for a reason, a season or a lifetime (phrase),'" she explained.

Hoda also shared that she does plan to date again, but she has pretty high standards these days, especially after leaving such a serious relationship.

"Sometimes people stay in something because they feel like they should. And I think sometimes you just have to kind of use your voice," she said.

She also said that she's willing to let Jenna Bush Hager set her up, but only because the two are so close.

“Because you know me and I trust you,” she told Jenna. “If you didn’t know me, even if we were anchoring and pretending, then I wouldn’t say yes, but you do know me.”
