Maria Menounos sparks concern with worrisome tweets
Maria Menounos has worried her fans after two cryptic tweets calling for prayers for her family.

Many of Maria's 653,000 Twitter followers asked her for more details, but the "Extra" host didn't respond.
After few hours after her initial tweet, Maria posted another message that referenced her plea.
"Thank you for the prayers. We really need them right now," she wrote just before midnight on Nov. 25. "I believe in the collective energy of good people wishing well or I wouldn't ask."
Thank you for the prayers . We really need them right now. I believe in the collective energy of good people wishing well or I wouldn't ask. Thank you & if you can keep them coming I would be forever grateful. Focusing on what I desire not the fear. Trying

She continued, "Thank you & if you can keep them coming I would be forever grateful. Focusing on what I desire not the fear. Trying."
A few of Maria's fans suspected that her tweets had something to do with her mother, but she didn't confirm the speculation. Litsa, Maria's mom, was previously been diagnosed with glioblastoma, an aggressive malignant tumor. Back October 2019, Maria announced that her mother's brain cancer had reappeared.
